Jordyn Tavarez (New Kensington, Pa./Highlands HS/Penn West Calif.) and Tomasi Pavihi (Wellington, New Zealand/St. Mary's Ryken HS/College of Marin) scored 12 points apiece, and Adnan Sbai (Harrisburg, Pa./East Pennsboro Area HS) added 12 points off the bench for the Celtics.
Clayton Cook (Brookville, Pa./Brookville Area HS) tallied 10 points, and Jimmy Giannetta (Pittsburgh, Pa./Saint Joseph HS) dished out three assists in the effort.
The Celtics tied the game three times at the beginning of the first half before a layup from Tavarez gave Carlow its first lead. The Celtics went on a 13-7 run over the next three-and-a-half minutes to gain a five-point advantage.
Two three-pointers in a row put the Eagles ahead once again, and Bridgewater strung together a 19-4 run to close the first half with a 16-point lead.
The Eagles outscored the Celtics 40-35 in the second half to secure the victory.
Bridgewater shot 64.6 percent (31 for 48) from the field and 82.4 percent (14 for 17) from the foul line on the day. The Eagled outrebounded Carlow 33-21 and outscored the Celtics 46-22 off the bench.
Jahmir Brown scored a game-high 14 points while Carter Palmer added 13 points off the bench for the Eagles.
The Celtics face Eastern Mennonite University for a 3 p.m. game tomorrow to conclude the classic.
