GREENSBURG, Pa. --- Carlow University women’s soccer was shut out in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest at Pitt Greensburg Tuesday afternoon.

GREENSBURG, Pa. --- Carlow University women's soccer was shut out in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest at Pitt Greensburg Wednesday afternoon.
The Bobcats (5-6-2, 2-0-1 AMCC) outshot the Celtics 34-0 and landed 50 percent of shots on goal to win, 11-0. Pitt Greensburg held a 14-0 corner kick advantage.
The Bobcats went ahead 8-0 in the first half behind an early hat trick from Megan Hickey, with a goal at 18' and back-to-back goals in the 23rd minute.
Bella Carroto scored a hat trick before halftime and added another goal in the 59th minute to put Pitt Greensburg ahead, 9-0. The Carlow defense fared better in the second half, with the Bobcats final two goals landing at 80' and 88'. Emma Reyes ended the day with three assists.
Elizabeth Knight (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin HS) made 11 saves in the complete game effort.
Carlow travels to Penn State Scranton for a 12 p.m. match Oct. 12.
