Cloak places first to help lead Women’s Cross Country at Mountie Invitational
CRESSON, Pa. --- Carlow University women’s cross country placed four of its five runners in the top 10 to land a first place team score at the Mount Aloysius College Mountie Invitational Saturday morning.
CRESSON, Pa. --- Carlow University women's cross country placed four of its five runners in the top 10 to land a first place team score at the Mount Aloysius College Mountie Invitational Saturday morning.
Ella Cloak (New Cumberland, Pa./Trinity HS) led the Celtics with a first place finish overall with a time of 21:51.80. Laci Schwirian (Elizabeth, Pa./Elizabeth Forward HS) placed third with a time of 22:02.60, and Mackenna Rankin (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank Valley HS) raced to a fourth place finish in 23:49.00 on the 5k course.
Claire Stevens (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler Area HS) landed in 10th place out of 27 runners on the day with a time of 26:08.30. Ava Widmyer (West Middlesex, Pa./West Middlesex HS) helped Carlow to a team score of 36 for the win.
